The intention of RIC is to have the students think beyond the 4 walls of their school, to remind them of their passion and to share in a common enthusiasm for our culture and industry. While students are in school they get so bogged down by the day-to-day tasks that they sometimes forget about what initially seduced them into this industry.
RIC is a way for students, staff and faculty to reconnect and share inspirations, to demonstrate that their success is dependent not only on technical skills, but the way they engage with their clients and community as a whole.
If students are inspired while they are in school, hopefully they will carry that inspiration forward into the salon. The longer they stay inspired in the salon has a direct correlation to their success in this industry. – Joseph Federico
