As usual, October was a crazy month here at Federico. For people in the beauty industry, Halloween is bigger than Christmas. The makeup! The hair! The blood! It is the one time of year when absolutely everyone is willing to get crazy with their looks, and let their stylists have a little fun.
From the zombies at Corbett’s House of Horrors in Folsom, to Good Day Sacramento and transforming Mark S. Allen into Caitlyn Jenner, the opportunities to get creative were endless. We spent most of the month doing special effects classes and students practiced their skills every chance they got.
However, the students real time to shine came once Halloween was finally here. The day was filled with fantastic costumes, and clients eager to be transformed into ghouls and demons. Cosmetologists, Barbers, and Estheticians all teamed up to create amazing one-of-a-kind looks for their clients.
Everyone did an amazing job. We can’t wait to see what you all have for next year!
