Graduated in 2010, Esthetics

After graduating from Federico Beauty Institute's Esthetics Program in January 2010, my dream of becoming a Professional Makeup Artist has finally come true! Although I love esthetics and skincare, I always knew I wanted to focus on Makeup Artistry and build a strong business for myself. I spent my first year post graduation testing with different photographers, models, and fashion designers to build up a professional portfolio, and taking as many advanced makeup courses as I could. I moved to the Bay Area a year ago, and my career has really taken off! I've done fashion shows, including Sacramento Fashion Week. I work regularly with photographers with boudoir clients and model portfolios. I've had the opportunity to work with several local magazines such as Real Weddings, Sacramento Magazine, and M Magazine on photo shoots. I recently worked with PETA on a National Adoption Campaign doing grooming for Nyjer Morgan of the Milwaukee Brewers. I also started focusing my business on building a strong Bridal Artistry business, doing makeup and hairstyling for Bay Area brides.

While I feel I've accomplished a lot in a short amount of time, there is still so much more I want to achieve. Even though I'm not practicing skincare right now, I am so grateful to have my esthetics license to really understand the role of skincare and prepping the skin in makeup artistry, and the wonderful education I received at Federico.
