While at school, I attended the Steve Elias Editorial Class and knew immediately I wanted this incredible artist to mentor me.  I continued to take classes from him and was asked to assist him on a shoot for Tantalum Magazine. It was a life changing experience.  To work on an actual editorial shoot was thrilling and gave me my first published credit.  Fast forward several months and I now assist Steve with his education and photo shoots in San Francisco. I have received many editorial credits under his direction and recently attended ISSE as a member of the Steve Elias Educational Team.  We did a stage show with The Teals and a hands-on class for the Professional Beauty Association.

I truly believe if I had gone to any other cosmetology school, I would be leading a completely different life.  Federico afforded me opportunities I never would have had with other schools.   I feel so blessed to be working with Steve.  He is truly a visionary and I am fortunate to have attended a school that saw the value in bringing him in to teach.
